Every Monday Hosts are invited to participate in the Marketing Monday event. This event is free for registered Hosts. The purpose of this meeting is:
- post upcoming events
- run ideas by other Hosts for their review and feedback
- coordinate events with a common theme on the same day or week
- work on activities that help to expand your marketing reach
Every Wednesday Hosts are invited to participate in the Prolific Writers Cafe event. This is an opportunity for you to talk about your expertise and discuss your upcoming events. It’s helpful to have your events scheduled out 30-90 days in advance. Not only does this give participants time to plan for events, it also gives everyone plenty of time to help promote them.
We drive traffic to Prolific Writers Life through the following:
- Prolific Writers Life Facebook page
- Prolific Writers Life Members Facebook group
- Prolific Writers Instagram page
- Prolific Writers Life MeetUp page
- Prolific Writers LinkedIn business page
- Prolific Writers Life YouTube channel

But the best marketing takes place through the expansive reach of all the community together. You get the benefit of the combined traffic coming to the site as other Hosts promote their events. This provides organic and exponential growth for everyone in the community. We share these Best Practices for Promoting Your Store so that every Host has the best chance of success. Blog posts on ProlificWriters.Life and/or your website are a great way to highlight your area of expertise. Email is one of the best ways to reach your target audience. If you don’t already offer a newsletter subscription to keep in touch with your followers, consider the following advantages of an email list: Facebook is a terrific place to engage with your target audience. If you have a business page, this is an ideal place to let people know about your upcoming events. The best way to share your event is to upload your feature photo and copy/paste your event description. Because events are fleeting and expired events lead to broken links, you might want to delete past events. If you’re promoting your store, products or events on Facebook, remember to tag the Prolific Writers Life Facebook page so we can help with promoting your events and products. Instagram is a great place to engage with your target audience. If you have an Instagram page for your business, this is a terrific place to promote your Prolific Writers Life store. Because events have expiration dates, it’s best to promote specific events using Instagram stories. That way, both the story and event will expire. Be sure to use hashtags that relate to your events and/or products. Although Instagram allows you to use up to 30 hashtags per post, some believe it can look “spammy” to use all 30. Try to use at least 5-11 hashtags on any given post. LinkedIn is a great way to connect with professionals in your target market. Follow our LinkedIn page. And add it as one of your positions. Get referrals from your event participants.
